November 10-12, 2019 Beverly Beach State Park to Eugene, Oregon

We were just hanging out. It was foggy. All of the sudden the sun came out so we went to Agate Beach. We hadn't been there yet. There were no agates, it is the wrong time of year now. The light was bad, so the photos did not come out well. Surfers on the waves, the Yaquina Head lighthouse and an odd looking flower with no petals.

John on the beach by a creek running into the ocean. Wind worked sand.

More wind worked sand. My Blue Dragon necklace won first place in the glass show at Echter's greenhouse this weekend! And it sold. Woo hoo.

We are back in Eugene at Oregon Motor Coach to get the work finished up. The ordered parts are here. There are only 15 coaches outside this time. We are the only ones staying in our coach too. Sunset tonight from the top of our coach.

I went to Costco to get my glasses adjusted and ran into Tom and Brittany. Two of the around 6  friends we have in Eugene. It was fun to see them. We spent the afternoon having lunch then wandering around Springfield looking at the art with Scott and Leslie. This is half of a mural of the Oregon Trail. I thought it was made out of tiles, but it is just painted to look like tiles.

Another mural of the Simpsons. In the show they live in Springfield, Ore. And the plastic couch with the Simpsons. The couch travels around to different locations in Springfield. The Balancing act is a sculpture by the library. It is an odd mix of a rhinoceros with a man balancing on top of him with a harpy on his foot. We speculate that it was not originally made like that, but that three different pieces of art were put together for it.

The fall colors are still lovely in Springfield. Leslie, Scott and John walking in the leaves and a colorful street corner.

Amazon delivered a pair of mallets for Scott's drums. He tried them out by playing the kitchen. A piece of Scott's art in the front yard.

Sunset on the drive home tonight. We got back to Oregon Motor Coach and we are parked next to what looks like our old bus. It is exactly like the one we have now except that it is lighter and has maple wood work and the new one has walnut woodwork. It can't be our old bus, it was totaled. But John thinks maybe it is following us around. . .

Sunset in our backyard tonight.   We had a new toilet installed in the bus today. It looks pretty much like the old one except the old one had a towel wrapped around it because it leaked. It ended up being cheaper to just buy a new toilet rather than buy the parts and pay the labor to have them installed.  It was back ordered for three weeks which is why we went to the coast. We also had new awnings put on today too.
