November 20, 2019 Tugman State Park, Oregon

Today was sunny and 60!

We hiked 6 miles round trip on the shore of Eel Lake with our friends Rob't and Diana. John and Diana at the trailhead.  Cool looking tree.

Walls of ferns along the trail. The cedar trees kind of look like the redwoods. They are huge trees, but not as big a redwoods.

There were tons of chanterelle and hedgehog mushrooms along the trail. Happy mushroom hunters. The sunlight on the lake and trail were lovely.

John with a fist full of chanterelles he found. Eel Lake.

John, Rob't and Diana overlooking Eel lake. Misc mushrooms.

Purple flower, and mushrooms. Two mushrooms, flower and a coral mushroom.

This bridge was VERY slick. John helping Diana over. He was going to help me, but I decided not to chance it and just crawled over it. Rob't and Diana walking between big trees.

John, Diana and Rob't with fall colors. Diana in the sunlight.

and Diana with two bags of all the mushrooms. They have a cat eye sunscreen on their coach too. Their coach is just as tall as ours, they are not taller than it. . .Amanita mushroom, and two others. The soup at the brewery (that does not serve food) is beer.

After the gruelling hike we went to Defeat River brewery in Reedsport for dinner and brews. John with is cascadian dark ale.  We did another selfie of ourselves at the brewery. Diana, Suep, Rob't and John.
