November 25, 2019 Bullards State Park, Bandon, Oregon

On our way to Bandon we passed burning slash piles in clear cuts and some fall leaves and moss.

The bus is now camped at Bullards State Park, just north of Bandon, Oregon. Most of the campgrounds are full for the Thanksgiving holiday. Here they have some first come first serve sites and we nabbed one. The hike to the beach is 3/4 of a mile.Through thick foliage to sand dunes.

The clouds reflected on the beach today.

This rainstorm passed by us just off shore. Reflections of the clouds on the water ripples running back to the sea from the waves.

This cool rainbow was north of us. It was on a heavy rainstorm that passed right over us. Lots of wind, so it was like being sandblasted with rain drops. We got soaking wet everywhere but under our raincoats. Right before the rain the light got really cool on the beach.

After the rain there was a double rainbow. Sunset in front of the rain storm.

Sunset behind the rainstorm. My favorite thing, a light in the utility post, right under the bedroom window. You can't turn it off. Before we had black out shades I would put foil over the light bulb.
Red berries, small ferns, a razor clam shell and the no driving on the beach sign. Most of the Oregon beach you can drive on, but not in the park. And a newt.
