The Coquille lighthouse. It was built in 1896 and was used until 1939 when it was replaced with an automated light on the jetty. A 15 mph tree tunnel on the way out of the park.
Beautiful historic old town Bandon. Grounded seagulls at the bottom of the photo. The wind was too high from them to be trying to fly. The waves were really big.
We walked along the beach for awhile to watch waves. It was way too cold, windy and rainy so we didn't last long.
Waves and rocks. Facerock seen from the view point in the wind and rain. It looks like a woman's face.
After all that cold, rain and wind we had dinner at the Bandon Brewery. John with his IPA. I was in a pine needle ornament exchange again this year. This gorgeous ornament is what my partner sent me. It is red dyed needles with sparkly crystal beads. An adorable angel on the front side and a poinsettia on the back. She also sent me these cute crystal xmas tree earring that match the one on the bottom of the ornament.
These are the two I sent here. They are dyed green needles, a piece of glass I made in the center and lots of sparkly seed and crystal beads.
Twisted rees on the way to the beach. Someone's beach fort.
Cloud reflections. Foam coming for me.
Waves and foam.
Cool looking driftwood tree roots. Rainwater puddles on driftwood.
Mushroom cloud. Kelp wrapped around a driftwood with foam in sunset.
Driftwood in sunset. Water drops from the rain on the pine needles, pattern in the sand, hike to camp and a newt, it is orange underneath.
