63, cloudy and a bit of rain.
Another day in the waiting room while the coach is serviced. Lily is ever hopeful that John will throw the rope for her. He is ignoring her. I am her last choice. Little hussy is partial to men, she laid her head on the knee of another man. The bus is up on the jack today having the suspension worked on.
They parked an almost identical bus next to ours, the darker one. Our first coach looked like that other one, it was lighter outside and had birch woodwork. Our current coach has dark woodwork. Sunset over coaches.
Sunset looking west. 59 and partly sunny and partly rainy. Spent the morning in the waiting room again today. Lily the shop dog, and customer entertainment. She is ever hopeful that someone will throw her rope. Today she was much friendlier, when ignored she would lay her head on people knee. She even laid it on my knee. Previously she would not come that close to me and I am the one that always throws it. She must be desperate.
In the afternoon we went to Leslie and Scotts house. I did laundry. Then we went hiking in Doris Ranch. The flowers were incredible. But can you even see John?
Larkspur and camas blooms along the trail. Wild iris, wild rose, chiming bells, larkspur and Solomon's seal, chokecherry blooms and camas.
Walking through the hazelnut grove. It is a historic orchard and now that it is a park they are continuing to grow the hazelnuts. Scott, John, Karen. Leslie and Rhody. walking along the river.
Willamette river. Happy hour in Scott and Leslie's back yard. The sun felt lovely.
During dinner there was a double rainbow here with the gorgeous rhododendrons. John and Scott finishing their T-bone steaks from our yummy dinner, while we photograph the rainbow.
Double rainbow and sunset.
