May 8-9, 2022 Tugman State Park, Lakeside, Oregon

High of 46 degrees and rained all day so far.

We drove from Cape Arago to William M Tugman State Park. This is our site.

I finished the basket. It is 10 x 9 x 2 3/4 inches. It is made from dyed pine needles, blue magnesite stick figures and center, glass beads and polyester thread. Most of the basket it made from purple needles, but mostly they look dark blue. Inside and outside photos.

High of 40 today. Partly sunny, no rain or wind. We hiked the south lake trail around Eel Lake. Cedar trees.

Eel lake. One of many small creeks running down into the lake.

Wall o' ferns. Lush growth, nice bridge.

Bleeding hearts, trillium, newt, and a bunch of bleeding hearts.  Now you see him, now you don't!

John on the trail. This huge trees are cedar trees. Another small stream heading into the lake.

BIG cedar tree.  Money flowers, Solomon's seal and lichen.

There is sunset out there, but the trees in the campground are so tall that they  block most of it.
